Sport Horns

I know some of you replaced the horn on your Fit with aftermarket. I got the Sport horns from College Hills Honda. I removed the front bumper - not as much fun as you might think - and I removed the single horn. I'm wondering how you attached the two horns and how you wired two horns when there is only one horn wire on the Fit.

Unplug each horn and plug in the new ones. I'm not sure what else you could be doing. There's a plug right into each horn. Just unplug it

Look through the lower grill. You can see one toward the middle.

If that is the one you see, there is also one behind the passenger fog lamp

Thanks for that. The video I saw showed installation in another Honda, with the horns easily accessible right from the top.

So, I found the other horn. I went out this morning and pressed the horn button, so I knew it had to be somewhere. The video showed where. It looks like he removed only one side of the bumper, while I removed the whole thing. I hate those clips that hold the bumper to the fender. They use the same type of connectors on their motorcycles, and taking things apart can be nerve wracking. Will a tab break off?

One thing surprised me. After removing the bumper from the right side, I saw that the bumper's attaching point for the upper screw was broken, so I didn't have to remove the screw completely. I thought that was for convenience, but I had to remove it completely from the left side. Obviously, it was somehow broken during assembly.

I noticed the tech didn't cover the edges of the bumper and fender with tape. I did that just to be safe, and I used plastic tools to try to separate them, but I had to go back to using my hands - pushing and pulling.

I'll post pictures when I get this finished.

Thanks. Got it!

It doesn't pay to start a project late in the day when you're tired.
