2016 EX lack of armrest

Hey folks. We got a 2016 last week, quite the upgrade from a 2002 VW golf. Anyway, while I'm not unhappy with no armrest to speak of I wouldn't say no to having one. Wondering if anyone has come up with or found any elegant solutions. I tried googling and all I got was armrest covers, armrests for other vehicles and one post here by a dude who made one himself. Not a super handy person, myself so I'm wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Last ditch effort I guess will be wrapping a piece of memory foam and just cramming it in the middle.

I drive with two hands on the steering wheel so I never missed the arm rest. The foam solution seems a good improvised solution to me.

Same here. Someday, when my car drives itself, I’ll worry about a center armrest. Until then I’ll keep my hands on the steering wheel.

Check out my 1st post in this thread. I got an armrest extension that fits on top of the stock armrest. It works great with just enough rise but not get in the way of regular driving.

It's nice having that extra height when you're at a stop light and just like to rest your arm.

I remove my hand from steering wheel to change radio, hvac system, drink coffee and even pat myself on the back so I can feel superior to others...

Also doesn't the Sport come with an arm rest? Mine had one attached to the seat so OP could swap seats if he really wants one. Maybe it was a dealer added option though.

That's who had it!! I remember reading about your armrest but couldn't remember who's it was lol. I loved my arm rest in my Fit and love it in my GTI. I use it all the time. It is a great thing to have even in a MT car.

Lol, always good to give yourself a good pat on the back.

I have to say I'm really liking the armrest on the new-to-me Odyssey. It's super comfy and at just the right height.
