"Auto" Window Switches
"Auto" Window Switches
It occurred to me the other day, that it would be rather easy to put those "Auto" window switches in the driver's arm rest for the other three windows. When it's hot, or raining, or whatever, I like to get all the windows closed fast.
I suppose.
But, auto switch doesn't really make them raise any faster. The only difference is you don't have to physically hold the button. I never have found that too challenging. If it's anywhere near a rainy day, I rarely have all 4 of my windows lowered. --maybe never,
Also on Hot Summer days, I like to leave my windows slightly cracked. It's actually easier to do this with the windows that aren't auto.
I think I'm leaving mine just the way it is.

My previous Fit came to me slightly used and with vent visors already installed at the top of all four window frames.
I never had those before and really came to appreciate them. Except for driving rain or snow, I could easily leave the window 1 - 1.5 in. down and not get precip inside the cabin.
In humid weather, I found it easier to leave the windows cracked all the time than use the defroster on startup. I was also less worried about someone breaking in through the open window because the visor gets in the way somewhat.
Sadly, that Fit got totaled by a red light runner 3 yr. ago, and the vent visors went away.
Just a thought.

You would have to add a control module as well. It's not just the switch. They make aftermarket kits. I really like automatic windows.
