Hello Everyone,

First time Honda Fit owner (2016) after far too long with a boring IS350....but it WAS reliable....and that was about it.

Anyway, wondering if anyone has upgraded their seats to a set of racing seats that are more comfortable?
The reason for this, is the Fit was our second choice in car - we really wanted a Fiesta ST with the standard Recaro seats, but could not find the right one when we were shopping. The only ones that were available were either broken, or had spotty repair history

I see there are many online options, but is there something that's more recommended over others? (easier to fit/aftermarket support/can still run factory seat heater switches).

BMW guy, drove an IS350 (boring?) now upgraded to a Honda Fit. I like to know how that happened besides you couldn't find an acceptable ST.

 

Yes, after years with a manual 88 325is we decided on a Lexus IS350.
The car bored us to tears, but was remarkably reliable, despite being 15 years old.

Still have the BMW, but wanted something fun and cheap to zip around downtown Vancouver with (which this little Fit does beautifully).
The BMW has since earned "antique" insurance, and is driven seldom.

 

IS350 was a competitor to the E46 or E90 330i. I wouldn't count it out. is350 much more hp. And, the BMW, gone soft.

 

Actually, the IS350 was designed and named as a knock against BMW with the 3 series "is".

Regardless, that's not why I'm here.
I'm here, because I want to find seats for my Fit

 

The person who owned the car probably knows what they want.

People have put old Civic Si seats in previous generation Fits, I do not know of any in GK Fits.

 

That's very true. I sure like to know why he is bad mouthing a car that was designed to compete with the fable BMW 3 series.
