Hi i just bought a new fit sport today and I have browsed this forum and saw a few threads regarding the front seats, and i have a question. I would like to know if there is anyway to make the front seats lower, i guess mainly the driver seat. I see that some people swap out some seats but that seems kinda extensive. I don't really like the fit seats, but everything else i really like.

Are there any diy ways to lower where you sit in the seat?

Maybe you can try a aftermarket seat but just try the seat for some time.Also check if the Honda Civic seat can maybe fit on the Fit.Just check out....

 

iv thought about this too. if the seat was about 1/2"-3/4" lower it would be great. unfortunately i dont think there is a way to do it other than new seat. a set of low rails would be money though

Lots of S2000 owners put race seats in, so they shouldn't be too hard to find.

 

Shouldn't be too hard to find at all. Finding them for a not outrageous price, good freaking luck.

 

I want to put in del sol seats. Best seats ever. I saw some one makes a low clearance set of aftermarket seat rails. I guess it would need some modification to make the del sol seats work with any rails, stock or not?

 

Buddy Club makes lowrise rails, but they are going to be made for their seats. You could always fab them up to work on OEM's
