Heat Shield SunShade

I ordered this custom fit Heatshield or sunshade for the massive lol! front windshield on the FIT. I thought I would just post up a few pictures for a quick review. I am really impressed with the FIT and finish of this product. Its well made and I would order it again. They even brought the material down to cover the small windows just in front of the driver and passenger side windows. I hope this helps anyone thinking about ordering a sunshade. It really helps lower the interior heat level on a sunny day.

My apologies for the not so great interior photo shot…not a professional photographer here, but I think you get the idea. Flipping the FITs sun visors up snugs the shade in place.

I bought the same one and can concur, love the FIT and finish of this product.

It is a bit tricky to deal with because of it's massive size, but it fits the three front windows so perfectly.

Yeah it's a "California King" sun shade lol! But it works great!

I have one like that. They are a real pain to mess with cause their so huge n all but on a really hot day, it does make a difference. I also got the wind deflectors for all the windows so I could crack them and not worry if it rains. Plus I got all my Windows tinted, that helps too.

Thumbs up

This is awesome! I just bought my Fit last week and didn't want to spend money on those generic windshield shades at autozone and such. Appreciate the link and photos.

Is someone going to post how much they paid for this shade?

I do not get too excited about heat. I have windows I can open or use A/C.
I use a Dollar Store shade that is too small but covers most of the dash to protect it. I guess it reflects some heat.

I do have one of the big fitted ones in our Caravan. Once you get the hang of it it is not that difficult to roll up or install.

Simply click on the link and it tells you the price ....39.95 plus ups ground shipping.

Pricey but worth it IMHO...reduces the heat significantly and will help protect the interior
from harmful effects UV rays has on plastic/leather etc.

Thanks for the reviews, I have been thinking of ordering one but have been put off by the price - the Auto shop ones are as low at 7.99.
It looks like this is 'the FIT' and I think I will have to spring for one.

How big?

Thanks for the post! I've been looking at this one too but have one question...

How big is it rolled up?

Only $31 to mail to Canada. UPS even more. So will stick with my Dollar Store one.

Thanks for sharing. I'll probably pick up one of these from Amazon later. I definitely want to get window tint first though...

I bought 2 jumbo size ones from Autozone, and overlapped them, holding them together with silicon adhesive. Put them on the outside, held in with the edges under the door frames. Holds tight, and blocks the sun before it hits the windows. Cheap.
