Steering Wheel Cover

Good day all,

Rocking my new Fit 6 speed LX and find the steering wheel slippery with my dry hands.

What size steering wheel cover do I need. Want to find a quality leather one.

Thanks

Best upgrade is a EX-L leather steering wheel. Did it to my EX and love it.
That being said honda sells a leather steering wheel cover for the Fit..

Yep, that's the one for the earlier Fits. No idea if it will fit the GK.
Amazon.com Amazon.com
says it won't, but what do they know!

I doubt it is. Steering wheels would have to be the exact same size. Also, they come with Blue Stitching. I have the leather cover on our 2011 Fit. Want one for the 2015 as well as a Leather shift knob.

I'm trying to figure out what the part number for the Canadian Spec EX-L 6MT shift knob is.

Checked and the part is no longer listed for the 2015 Fit. It was a few weeks ago as I considered it briefly when I first got my Fit.
Either way I'd say getting the OEM Honda Fit EX-L steering wheel is the way to go. The covers have to be stitched perfectly and evenly for it to look ok and it still will not go up the spokes to the plastic trim like the OEM one does....

Where would you order the EXL steering wheel?

following up on this thread as I am looking to upgrade my steering wheel. I have a EX and want a better grip.. I don't mind having a cover instead of paying lots for an EX-L steering wheel.

I have the cover on our 2011 Fit. Looks and feels great. Waiting for Honda to release one for the new steering wheel.

Does anyone have any idea when the Honda Steering Wheel leather wrap will become available for the 2015 Fit?

(I'd love a new steering wheel, but that's out of our budget for right now ;-) )

I think it looks so good that I want one for myself now too! It looks especially nice for something that came from Kmart! Lol. I like that it looks like it's easy to put on and remove because 1. I hate struggling to fit tight things on other things that they barely fit, and 2. if I damage it because my hands always seem to be covered in a layer of hand-sanitizer gel and/or lotion, I can easily replace it. I sort of ruined my '10 leather steering wheel with the aforementioned things. (Who knew leather and lotion weren't a good combination? )

I'm going to have to hit up my local Kmart and see if they have this tomorrow. Any chance the Kmart you went to is in either Hayward or Redwood City? (I have to be in both places tomorrow, so if one is a sure thing, I'll go there.) Is this a specific size?
