Had my Fit for about a week now and am really pleased with my EX.

I assume that they sell the Fit in Europe.(?) And...I'm pretty sure that
the EU requires yellow for turn signal lights in the rear. So...if thats the case...then we should be able to buy EU style taillights?...or not.

I think the only options are to find some from the E.U. since it's a requirement there, or hope a 3rd gen '16 or later has the same taillight in yellow.

Looks like none of their Hondas have yellow rear turns:

They could easily be using yellow bulbs and just not yellow tinted lens. Which is what it looks like from the back of the "Civic Limousine."

 

That's a good point. If you blow up the picture of the red Jazz, it looks like there's a yellow bulb under the clear backup light lens.

 

So this gives me a thought… there are these yellow and white LED bulbs for the front parking light/turn signals. If one of those would fit in the backup light socket, with a little rewiring, one could have white backup lights with amber turns, no?

 

That has absolutely the biggest sun roof I have ever seen, it's like the entire roof! But I am surprised the taillights look like the 2nd gen. And it would be pretty cool to have a Fit hybrid in the US, too.

As I look at the pictures more, is it possible that it's still a 2nd get Fit, based on the dash and all, it's like the 2nd gen standard radio and dash configuration - complete with upper glovebox.

 

there's no "if" about it... it is 2nd gen.
