Cargo tray vs cargo liner?

I've had my LX for 2 weeks and I've already hauled 3 pieces of furniture. (Hooray for giant-on-the-inside cars!) I have a cargo tray which leaves a big ridge when the seats are all folded down, so I've had to remove the cargo tray each time I've put bigger things in. It's kind of annoying but I don't want to go without everyday protection. Does anybody have the cargo liner? How well does it seem to protect and stay in place?

We use both the liner, and the cargo tray. The liner does a good job of protecting the back of your seats (with the seats up or down, and even split), and the sides of the cargo area. The tray helps by adding a layer of protection to an otherwise weak feeling floor, and by redefining the cargo area as opposed to the loose fitting liner. It is ok to lay something on the cargo tray folded edge. It will snap right back.
