2015 LX here as well....iirc, no it doesn't light up...or mine's not working either Guess Honda figures you don't use it often enough to bother with backlight? Who knows?

what about your fan speed control button ? Are the 1,2,3,4 numbers backlit?
The more back lighting you want the more wiring you have to run through the car and the more chances of things breaking - wiring pulling loose from a terminal, wire breaking, terminal corroding. Making a car more complex makes it less reliable and needing more repairs, as minor as those repairs might be. Putting a sensor in the washer fluid jug might be handy for measuring the fluid level but when the owner uses a washer fluid which destroys the sensor and results in a $100 repair then perhaps not putting that sensor in for both the manufacturer and car owner would have been a better idea.
I've found that if you have a car long enough then you know exactly where the switches are that you commonly use and you can close your eyes and still reach out and accurately touch them. You don't need to read anything.

that just cheapness from Honda, the backlighting is already there for the window and door lock switches; it can be that much to add the mirror control.
No - it certainly doesn't on my cheapo LX - some days I dream of manual crank windows and their simplicity relative to the extremely slow powah windows that my LX is graced....
@Jazu I agree. I could do without the power window (with manual, you don’t have to worry about bad motor and rain before you can get replacement) but the power mirror is nice though.
