Have anyone successfully imported a 3rd Gen Honda Fit from Canada to United States

I just obtain the letter of compliance from Honda USA for a 2016 Honda Fit (Canadian Version). Not only is the expected TPMS missing, but also "49 CFR Part 541 Theft Prevention Standard, relating to the parts marking requirements". I read a lot online about how folks installed an after market TPMS, but what did they do for the theft prevention standard? Did anyone here successfully complete the process or have anecdote?
