New cars don't require maintenance as often as cars did a few years ago, but they still need regular attention. I recently made up a separate tool box of Fit tools. It holds all the things I need to do most common repairs on our two Fits. I have a 17mm wrench, oil filter wrench, oil drain plug washers, screwdrivers, panel removal tools, fuses, and several other regular maintenance tools. As I find that I need a tool that's not in the box, I'll add it.
