Can I Fit This Boxed LG OLED C1 Series 55" in My 2020 LX?
Box dimensions are allegedly 53.0"W x 31.9"H x 8.1"D and the packaging weight is 63.1 pounds. FYI I have never folded the back seats down also I believe there is a trick to doing something with the front passenger seat as well.
I have been told these are the same televisions. I am going to assume the boxes will be the same and if not the difference will not matter. TIA.

My bad. You can fit the TV in the Fit with the rear seats folded flat.

If you have the dimensions of the box, why can't you measure the cargo area of your car to find out? Playing with the back seat is half the fun of the Fit.
If you're looking for hope or motivation, I can tell you about the largest load that I have fit in my 2010 Fit Sport (different generation, and I've never been in a newer Fit, but like I said, if you've got the car it shouldn't be difficult to figure it out).
From the bottom (car floor) up:
1) heavy blanket
2) oak kitchen table top - 60 x 36 x 2 inches
3) blanket
4) table legs, cross bars, and other hardware
5) blanket
6) four wooden, non-folding chairs with arm rests, each wrapped in a blanket
This was a full load, but I was able to fit everything without rubbing the ceiling, windows, or interior panels. I will say that the front seats were moved at least 3/4 of the way forward (way past where I normally sit) and it was a unpleasant on the drive home. But, it's always fun showing up for a Craigslist purchase and having the people say "yeah, you realize this is a kitchen table, right?"

Trick or not, there is no opening that meets the 53 inch dimension. Does Samsung make a foldable TV?

Rats. If I get it at Costco I wanted to pick it up at the store rather then having it shipped from Costco or Amazon if I go that route.

EDIT:
The good folks over at r/hondafit seem to disagree with you.

Nah, just the facts though thank you for the sentiment.
Not to be rude, but I provided you with the fact that a larger item than you asked about can fit into a 2010 Fit, flat on the floor. Apologies that I don't own the exact same model of Fit that you're looking for, but in the time we've spent typing back and forth you could have measured your car to find out the interior cargo dimensions (or probably Googled it).
I'm not sure what the other person was talking about but it should be fairly obvious that you don't need a 53 inch wide opening to put a 53 x 32 inch box inside your car.

I'm sitting at the table right now. Just measured again and it is 60 and 1/4 inches long x 36 inches wide.
As I stated, the table (plus detached legs, hardware, and four chairs) fit in the back of my 2010 Fit Sport, with the hatch closed, and the front seats more than half of the way forward.
Why would I make that up? Maybe a devious plot to humiliate the original poster in front of a bunch of Costco employees when he can't get the TV he just purchased into his car?
If you don't think it's possible I invite you to measure for yourself and let us know what you find out.
It's generally a very bad idea to put a modern TV in anything-but-standing position, as the thin glass is not meant to structurally handle its own weight, except in its natural vertical position.
If you absolutely positively must do it, then at least put it with the glass side pointing upward, as there is tiny bit of support under it (from TV internals).
I've also seen people put blankets and what not, and put the thing on top of it, with the glass pointing down, but....
I suggest you figure out a way to transport it standing up, as intended. I brought a 65" LG OLED from Costco to home using my '19 Fit.
How? I have a small open-frame utility trailer. Yeah, I guess that's "cheating."

Well, that's interesting. Thanks for that. I have never put anything large in the car nor have I ever folded down the seats. So do you agree with Drew21 that this won't fit in the 2020 Fit with these dimensions (53.0"W x 31.9"H x 8.1"D) particularly now that I want to bring it home standing up? I'm thinking now maybe I'll just have Costco deliver it. I believe the cost is $20.00. I'm OK with that since the regular price both at Amazon and Costco is $1500 but at the end of the month it goes on sale for $1300 at Costco. TIA.
I just quickly checked using my Fit, and with the rear seat up (tall position), 31.9" x 8.1" is fine, but 53" is too long, as Fit is a fairly narrow car.
You won't be able to close the rear door with something that wide in there. And I don't believe there's any wiggle room there.
However, with the rear seat in down position, the cargo area itself appears to be big enough to handle 32" tall box. 53" should also fit diagonally, or with the front passenger seat pushed forward. You will have to lean the box to get it through the hatch, but once it's in there, it should be possible to set it up in upright position.
Temporarily leaning the box to get it in there should be fine, since it's for a very short time and it won't be subjected to vibrations from driving.

Thanks so much.
