Detail pictures LX vs. EX 2015 Fit interior cloth

Here are some more detailed photos of the different interior cloth used between the LX and EX models. LX photos taken outdoor, EX indoor, which explains some of the color shade differences on trim and plastic panels.

The EX seems to be the same type of fabric on the seat bolsters and center sections. It just adds the fine lighter colored line pattern on the center section cloth. Is that supposed to be a geometric or space-age pattern?

The LX seat center section and side bolsters seem to be different types of cloth, not just the addition or lack of design in the fabric. The seat center section has a very different pattern on the LX.

On both, just the driver's seat gets height adjustment, via the second (longer) handle on the outside of the bottom cushion.

Nice pics. First time for me to see LX cloth interior pic close-ups. No more guessing on my part. IMO, the EX cloth has a more upscale design. Its good to know that the manual seat adjustments are duplicates on both models. Thanks for the post.

Thanks for this info. We drove an EX on Saturday and the height adjustment was very helpful since my wife is under 5 ft. But I couldn't determine for sure if that feature was on the LX too, or just on the EX. This answered that question. Thanks!

Thanks for the pictures in this and the other thread!

You've sold me on the LX.

I like the look of the LX cloth and the black exterior accents front and rear rather than that cheesy chrome-on-plastic bits that have already shown quality issues.

Yeah this helped sell me on the LX as well. I prefer the cloth seating of the LX and feel the EX looks like it's trying a little hard to look sporty. Both are nice, but the LX looks a little more "grown up" if you ask me.

Now I just need to wait for my dealer to get a blue EX
