2016 Honda Fit car hork not working
I know there's fuses to check under the hood, but does anyone have details on the wiring incase the fuse isn't the problem? Also, does anyone have recommendations or links to where one would buy a replacement fuse? Hopefully they aren't very pricey.
I've yet to find a very comprehensive explanation of the horn system.

Welcome. Let's get a few things out of the way.
Does your vehicle have the original horn, steering wheel and airbag? If any of those parts have been replaced, the following doesn't apply.
Have you been tinkering with the electrical system in any way? Same, the following doesn't apply.
Typically when a horn stops working, it's not a fuse, but a relay. Horns don't normally wear out, but relays do. Occasionally it could be a bad ground wire, but my money is on a bad relay.
The problem with DIYing a relay is that removal of the driver's side airbag might be required, and that's something I definitely don't recommend for the average home mechanic.
If it were me, I'd call up a few independents and dealerships and ask what they charge for a typical horn diagnosis/repair. Might not be as bad as you think.

Individual fuse can be relatively expensive, a few dollars! If fuse is the problem, take the fuse with you to place like autozone so that you are sure to get the right replacement. There are different sizes, shapes, and of course current ratings. You can buy the assortment package, which is less expensive.

A previous car I owned the horn stopped working. I hadn't pressed it in at least 10 years and when I finally did it did nothing. After going home and thinking about it a bit I concluded that the electrical contacts had probably oxidized from lack of use. I carefully pressed the horn perhaps 30 or 40 times and it started working again.
