Glitchy Digital Speedometer

Has anyone has there digital speedometer go blank or pixelated? Mine seems to be doing it when the temperature is below 45 degrees. Trying to prove to Honda that this is a global issue not isolated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ok, I just did this myself in the fall. Same glitchy stuff, which for me was worse with extreme temps. There are some good videos that walk you through it. Removing the cluster was easier than I thought. I initially used too much solder and the whole thing stayed blank, so I brought it back in, removed the excess, and it's been flawless since. The link provided by saveMT will show you the way. I will say that the connection that you're soldering is way smaller in real life that it seemed in the video.
