Looking for a front plate mount that goes into the front tow hitch.
The ONLY one I've been able to find online is the garbage "Amazon special" / Dewhel branded one. Which is terrible, and started slipping and rotating almost immediately. I am hoping someone else has some better luck with another brand and can offer suggestions?
CravenSpeed brand apparently has one for almost every make and model.
The price didn't budge since I bought mine 3 years ago!
Honestly, I think it's overpriced for what it is. I had a GrimmSpeed License Plate Relocation Kit for BRZ/FR-S back in the days and that thing was awesome, and for less money. Obviously, they don't make them for just any car, or I would have bought one for the Fit. And no, the one for the BRZ didn't fit the Fit.
The "bolt" was of the correct thread/pitch, but it was too short. I had to add a plastic spacer to push the plate further out. I just happened to have some big plastic spacers that came with some strong magnets, so I used that. For all I know, they might have fixed that issue in the current version they're selling.
You can see the big white plastic spacer in the attached image. The ugly foam thing is just something I made in a hurry to cover the hole. LOL
As for rotating, have you tried strategic application of blue Loctite? I used some when I mounted mine. No problems for over 3 years.
