Radio control on steering wheel rubbing off....


This also happened on my other Fit, same exact spot. Anyone else experience this? Not a big deal, just mildly annoying.

That is normal. Buttons do wear out on most all cars that get used the most.

Yes, but this started wearing off within a month or so of purchasing my 2016 Fit. I keep my hands clean and don't wear lotion, so it's odd that it rubs off so quickly,

Do you wear sunscreen or bug spray? Do you have longer fingernails?
I would say a month would be pretty quick, but for many drivers the forward skip button on the radio might be the most commonly touched button in their car and I would expect it to be the first wear point.
Black Sharpie would probably cover it up.
