Has anyone removed trim over glove bow or by shifter to refinish. 2015 model

 

Once you remove the glove box, you can pull straight out the big piece above it and then you'll see a few small tabs to push out that silver trim piece.

The shifter surround is a bit tricker and it's been some time since I've done it, but I think it's quite involved by almost removing the entire center console.
