Manual trans drain plug

It's been ages (decades?!) since I've done a manual transmission oil change. I did it on my '15 Fit that has 57,000 miles on it (new owner of it). Much to my dismay, the drain plug isn't magnetized. Well it had zero debris on it so I assume it's not magnetized. I find it hard to believe that normal wear, miss-shifts, inadvertent gear grinding and so on don't result in metal chips and are deemed harmless. I suppose like every consumer item it was a cost cutting decision. No, I'm not overly worried about it, but would someone confirm that it's not magnetized, and as a bonus, are the older model's drain plugs magnetized? They recommend fluid changes every 60K miles so maybe that's a factor.

Not magnetized. Apparently the AT plug is magnetic.

2019 MT here. Yup, it's just a plain, non-magnetized, plug. I think it might be the exact same thing as the oil drain plug.
I replaced mine with an Outlaw Racing OR2620 Magnetic Oil Drain Plug (14x1.5x13 mm).

Don't forget to get some FILL plug gaskets (20mm ID - 10-94109-20000 and maybe others), as these are bigger than drain plug gaskets.
Drain plug gasket should be the same as engine oil drain plug gasket.

I've owned a 2017, 2013, and now a 2008. None of them had a magnetic plug for the transmission.
