The dashboard warning light that looks like a key came on in my 2015 Honda Fit EX with 91 thousand miles on it. I replaced the batteries in my fobs and the light went off, and then came on again, then off again. On-line comments suggested a problem with either the transmitter associated with the key and starter, or the starter button itself. I took it to the Honda dealer and the starter button was replaced for free. I was advised that the Honda warranty for this item had been extended to 125K miles. Thank you Honda USA and a heads-up to Fit owners.

 

I didn't know it was extended...cool. Mine was done under the extended warranty a few months ago.
