2015 Fit System Inficators
2015 Fit System Indicators
My wife’s car suddenly started showing VSA-EPS-ABS and Smart Entry Sytem warning lights.
car seems fine to drive and nothing out of the normal. Only thing is to turn carn off you have to push the button twice.
any help with this greatly appreciated.

Do you mean the little key with an exclamation mark and WiFi signal? If so, it’s probably the start stop switch which is a known defect. There is a TSB extension warranty but if your fit is 2015 or later, you probably missed the extension. My light has been on too. Honda wants 150.00 to diagnose it rather than admitting it’s a known defect. I said bite me. I’m already dealing with the VTC actuator conundrum.
I was told that it would be $150 only if the problem turned out NOT be the on/off switch. They are just trying to watch themselves. That angered me too but all the signs were it was the switch and when I brought it in, it was replaced much quicker than they said at no charge.
Checked Vin and no recalls, had 1 about door handles but fixed. I am in Canada so might be different.

Update
I brought car to “stealer” and they scanned it for start/stop switch and confirmed it was that but had to order it. Went back when received and waited 3 hrs to install new switch, when I went to leave it wouldn’t start. They tried to blame it on battery in fob, brought it back in and said one of the pins got bent when plugging switch in. Now it started but before I left tried turning off and guess what you still have to push switch twice. Back in again, oh it’s probably a defective switch we’ll have to order another. But why didn’t the mechanic notice that he would have to hit switch twice when he drove car out. Went a third time to dealer and 2-1/2 hrs later car is ready, when I go to leave you still have to push switch twice to turn off. Again why did mechanic not notice this and say something. Shop manager comes out because I’m really mad now and goes and try it, excuse is because ABS and VSA lights are on dash are on. So why wouldn’t they have told me that right from the start and save me 2 trips and reordering switch. I was told those lights would have nothing to do with the Start/Stop switch.
sorry for the long rant
sorry for the long rant
Battery only a couple of years old and no codes with reader I have.
wow...would have thought if most of the dashlites turn on there would be a code. there is a post about someone who ran a 2nd wire from battery + from gen to battery....it doesnt (in theory) affect anything but he claims its a low voltage problem. and fixed it. obviously this is pretty random advice.but if your out of unfun things to do, thats my plan if this happens to me.he did this maybe a year ago...i asked him a few questions at the time....also if you replaced the battery....the clamps are tight, right? because the costco batter terminal a bit smaller, had to file honda clamp to get good connecting, bolt tight BUT just clamped to itself,!!!!!!....spins on tiny terminal , needed to make more adjustment
