I had my automatic transmission swapped out with a low mileage one from a junkyard, everything has been good except for the indicator on the dash cluster giving no indication of what mode my transmission is in and instead just flashes.

Aside from electrical tape covering up the spot on the dash, does anyone know how I can get it back to normal?

 

Owner's manual, p.320:

If the transmission indicator blinks when driving, in any shift position, there is a problem with the transmission. Avoid sudden acceleration and have the transmission checked by the dealer as soon as possible.
