nope, but with a little bit of work, we might be able to import it and swap it in.

It might not a simple swap though. I'm still trying to figure out what is needed to do the swap...

Might be hard to swap it when its intended for the other side of the car.
They drive on the right which means controls that you want to swap would only be reachable to your passenger on your us spec car

I guess you didn't check my link. In Germany, they have LHD cars that also have climate controls.

The OP is in Australia, so he would need the RHD version.

But for the lazy:

For that, he can import JDM parts. You could try this link https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...tml#post769550

thanks guys, the part whcih im not sure about being a direct swap is the lever to swap between recycled air and outside flowing air, cause that is manual on the regular model where as this is a button so it must be motorised somehow...

to think of it... all the servos would prolly cost a grip and would be way too much time and money anyone would want to spend on swapping in auto climate controls and digital display.

with that kind of time and money i would go for the skyroof project.

Yes - A Skyroof Project - how hard could it be? Finding the parts could be the most difficult. That's the slickest thing I've seen re: FIT Mods.

It's possible but it may require a lot work. When I had my 97 Civic, I've always wondered if it could be converted to the 99 HVAC.

Thanks for the reply, thanks for the link too, gives some perspective on the job at hand, I will be willing to do the work I just need diagrams, will help a lot, I'm thinking off pulling apart some of my dash this weekend and having a peek around to see what its like.

Even if available in North America, I wouldn't want these controls. One of the things I really like about the controls is that the air mix knob is continuously variable, rather than relying on fixed positions selected by buttons. This means that I can fine tune the split between face and feet in a way that isn't possible with a button system. The past 2 cars I have owned have all had automatic climate control systems with button selectors, and the Fit's big knob is a small but significant improvement.

That's something that should really be in the USDM. Amazing what we can't have.......

I don't hate the knobs, I just like something different, thought it be a cool thing to change, and I was thinking about the cup holder, I'd like to get it eventually but I want to see if there are better after market ones released... its damn hard to find things for this car in AUS
