What's up FF I'm new tone the fit world but will be k swapping my GD3. I've done some research on the swap an am confident I can do the work. I was wondering if you guys could help me out and point me in the right direction for the wiring? Also any advice on the swap is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I researched the k swap using threads here a while ago. I pretty much learned two things: 1 it is butt expensive, and 2 there is no way I could do it myself. So I bought a K24Z7 instead. Thankfully it came with a 2012 Civic Si around it so I wouldn't have to worry about making sure everything fit. Good luck!

Yeah from I gathered through the years the K swap can run yeah some bucks. But if your trying to build then L15 in a serious manner the K swap is fair in pricing with much more power and potential.

Lol that's hilarious. I drove the new si a while back the torque was very nice. I'm planning one doing the 20a3 or the 24a4 this vtec cams as vtec killers on 10-15 psi. I will also be doing an auto to manual swap in the process, which shouldn't be hard given the fact everything has to be changed anyhow. I don't care if it takes 2 years to gather all the parts, I'm gonna do it just because of the challenge I will definitely post a full write up here.

Need some advice

Hey everybody, I was wondering if i can get some advice from you about the Honda Fit K20 Swap… I’m in the process of doing the swap and want to know these answers:

1) Is the swap hard to do?
2) Is it the DC5 Type R K20a Engine with Transmission and with engine harness and Suspension, Brakes, Axles???
3) Which Radiator do i use? The one with the original Honda Fit or the one from the DC5 Type R??

I need some advice on how the swap is going to go.
