Hi Folks,
I am the owner of a used 2015 Honda Fit. I live in Maine and most recently, we had a huge heavy wet snowstorm. Well, the snow on my hood fell off and pulled my front license plate down, bending it. I don't see any top attachment. It looks like the previous owner trying drilling screws into the frame (see pic) Any thoughts on what I should do? I don't want to damage anything further like they did, but willy nilly drilling holes.
Ya, that was a super crappy storm wasn't it! The front license plate bracket is held in place in 3 spots, 2 screws in the grill and one big one in the bumper. Try taking off the license plate and see if you can reattach it to the bumper with the big screw at the top. If that bumper hole is too big you might want to get some tan plastic epoxy and fill in that hole a little bit so that the screw can get some bite.
Oh I see what you mean. That one big one in the center is what you are referring to. I guess just drill through the license plate? LOL! Yes, i just went out to look at it. There is a middle screw hole in the plate holder itself. Only way to attach it would be to drill right through the license plate. Well I guess I'll do that lol Thank you so much for the reply!!

The factory plate bracket is only screwed in from Honda with course screws through the plastic. There are no holes for any plate for the front bumper. It is bone stock that way.
