Honda Fit Hybrid GP5

Hi fellow fit mates,

May I ask does anyone have experience on modifying a Honda Fit Hybrid GP5, in terms of ecu tuning, intake etc.

What is the potential of the car, considering it is running on DCT?

Thank you so much! Looking forward to hear from you all

You might have better luck on the CR-Z forums. it has the same engine and IMA system.

after some digging, it looks like the GP5 GP4 may have more engine modding potential than GE or GK. The general consensus around NA Fits is that, intake/exhaust is mostly for the sound, and anything short of swapping in a K series engine will lead to rod knock in 10,000 miles or less. But the GP5 GP4 shares the same LEA engine and hybrid system as the CR-Z, and throwing bolt on superchargers/turbos seems to be more common from a cursory glance at CRZ Forums. Does the LEA engine have stronger connecting rods? maybe someone with more CR Z experience could tell you. I'm still pretty new to the forum and modding cars in general. from my lurking, reviving old threads is a good way for new members to get acquainted

EDIT: oop, turns out everything i researched was about the GP4. must've gotten it mixed up reading auto translated japanese wikipedia pages
