Do any of you use a windshield sun shade? I looked at some on Amazon, but I didn't see any that listed the Honda Fit. I'm wondering if they really make a difference in the interior temperature and what size would be good for the Fit.
A sun shade definitely helps, but if your car (especially if it's a dark color) is parked in the sun all day it's going to be hot regardless of what you do.
The best combination I've found is to use a sunshade, park with the windshield facing into the sun, and leave the windows cracked about 1/2-inch (I have rain guards over the windows so I don't have to worry about passing rain). Obviously window tint would help as well.
I have two sun shades. One is a thick/double layer of insulated foil that works quite well but is a pain to deploy or stow away inside the car and also takes up quite a bit of room when rolled up. The second is a single layer of material with two embedded tension hoops. It works okay and is much easier to store in the car but definitely doesn't repel as much heat as the thicker insulated shade.
The single layer shade has an added bonus. One side is black, which I use in the winter to help warm the car interior (a bit). Again, it can't work miracles but does help if the car is parked outside facing into the sun, including helping to break up window frost if facing into the morning sun.
I can find more specific information if you're interested, although I'm not sure if the shades for my 2010 would be ideal for your 2015.
I recall that when I was searching many of the shades provide dimensions which you can compare to the size of your windshield.

I ordered two from Amazon. None of them say they fit the Fit. I got a large size - 33" tall.
I thought I posted this elsewhere here but maybe not. I bought the jumbo size sunshade at Target and found that the two halves can snug under the rear-view mirror and folding the visors down takes care of most of the rest. I also leave the windows open a little for ventilation. My experience in using sunshades in several different cars is that they make a real difference.

Thanks. Most of the sunshades mention that the two halves might overlap a bit in the center, depending on the width of the windshield.
I like to improvise. I use one of the "space blanket" on the outside of the windshield. I use both front doors and the two windshield to keep the blanket in place. To keep it from ripping, I fold clear tape around the perimenter of the blanket. You can buy several of them for a little over a dollar each in eBay.

We use them in the winter - at home. I wouldn't want to park for hours (while at work) in a large parking lot with one of them on the outside of the windshield.

May I ask why wouldn't use it while at work? I see some people using such in winter at my workplace's parking area.
I don't use such, because I don't like to pack and store a wet and icy blanket inside the car after use. Or in summertime a blanket with dust, pollen or bird's sh..

I'm not very trusting. Someone could pull it off just because he could. I use the snow shields overnight at home.
Works really well and formed just right. Unfortunately I put a dash cam that fits on the rear view mirror and it's larger so I have to tilt the camera to put the shade on now.
Yes, it is quite stiff, but it still folds easily and you can bend the corners if you have a dash-cam.
It also covers the windows in the A pilars.
I drive mostly alone, so I like that the windshield cover fits perfectly next to the passenger seat

Very nice. Message too short, so adding this comment will let me post it. 😁
@happyfarmer Thanks for posting! I have never seen a window shade for FIT that covers the A pillar windows!! Amazing that they thought of that--no one else has it.
Did you ask for that feature? Is it custom to your specs? Or if I order it will come that way with the A Pillar flaps without any additional instructions?
Because their sample pics just show the windshield covering, not the flaps.
