I have my two original key fobs, and one from a different 2015 Fit. I'd like to have all three programmed to work on my car, but I'm concerned about the cost. I'd call the dealer, but it's Sunday. Do you know the cost of that programming, or do dealers just charge what they want?

This can't be done by anyone but Honda.

Found online - CarMax only charges $31 to program key fobs so I added my remote start key fob for way less than a dealer. 2019 Accord. : r/Honda

EDITED: I continued reading that post, and the key fob the guy bought looks like mine, but the website selling it says it won't work with a 2015 Fit EX. The combination of cars, keys, and starting systems can be very confusing. It's too bad they don't standardize something as basic as starting the car.

 

Most dealerships charge 1 hour labor to program a key.

 

I'm going to pay over $100 for a key. 🤣 🤣 🤣
