EDIT (Had to Return Lemon 2015): GK Service / Repair Manuals

I’ve searched for days, but it seems like Chilton did release a DIY repair manual for the GK honda fit, but all links to it are dead and it’s not on their site. I’m looking for a 2015 repair manual.

Did anyone happen to save it?

Otherwise is our only option paying $30/day for this: https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/logon.aspx

EDIT: welp. Ended up having to return my lemon 2015 after just 7 days. Problems kept appearing and stacking up - hard.

To list everything that I've found:
1. Rear main seal leak.
2. VTC actuator rattle.
3. Transmission clunk/click when shifting or taking off (probably the transmission and/or motor mount?)
4. AC compressor clutch not engaging/no cold air. (Haven't tried just replacing the relay)
5. Dash panel display broken & brightness control knob does not adjust brightness at all.
6. Gear indicator flashing & car seems to go into get home mode until shut off and restarted. Happens every single time now after I get above 20mph.
7. Left rear hub rusted with one stud broken off. Car came with 3 nuts on the hub - inspection fail.

Are the 2015's just a s*%t show/hit or miss because launch year of the redesign and the brand New Mexican plant?

Appears honda stopped offering Service Express as well? (I've seen some people's screenshots floating around.

"In an effort to provide the best experience for our subscribers, American Honda has chosen to maintain one service information website - Service Information System (SIS). SIS offers users expanded search capabilities as well as Tool Integration. We will no longer be selling subscriptions to ServiceExpress."

as far as i know Chilton never had a manual for the GK . the closest you can get is the Haynes manual for the '07 - '13 .

Had to return the car. Thread edited. 2015's seem to be horrible/hit or miss. I did get the manual direct from the Honda link, and purchased an Emanual which is just a no-hyperlink version of the Honda manual. Over 9000 pages.

Looking back over the last 10+ years of Fit production (until it ended in 2020) the 2015 is easily the worst Fit produced in this time period. A lot of it may have to do with a brand new design in 2015 and a brand new factory in Mexico with a brand new inexperienced work force. I shake my head every time I see a post from someone planning to buy a 2015. Yes, there are 2015's which have had necessary fixes and were well maintained but you really have to know what to look for.

In your case the car was not well maintained on top of everything else. Just seeing a broken wheel stud which nobody bothered to repair would send me running away screaming. That's a pretty obvious warning sign.

Definitely about the wheel stud. However since I didn't pull off the hub caps I didn't notice it til inspection. Then piled on with the other issues this car is going back and I'm losing on taxes paid.

in the market for a 2019 now.

Why would you lose on taxes paid? Since you're not buying the car you should get the taxes back. Check with your local tax office.

I didn't know that was a thing if I already titled it in my name and paid all tax and registration fees.
