I have a 2016 Fit EX-L. The original wiper rubber inserts that came off my original wipers is the one on the left. The new inserts I purchased from hondapartsnow.com is the one on the right, with part number 76622-T6A-J04. The long steel rods do not fit into the J04 at all?! It appears that Honda switched wiper style at some point? It appears that I need 76622-T6A-J02 but I cannot seem to purchase those anymore, and that part is replaced by 76622-T6A-J04?
You have the wrong wipers installed on your car. 3rd gen fit front wipers don't have metal rods in the inserts. Should be the floppy rubber blade with a plastic endcap on each end.

This is the 14" front passenger side wiper, taken apart. Much like the old style Honda wipers with 2 stainless steel rods holding the rubber blade. This is the exact style that comes on my 2007 Honda Accord, which makes me think Fit uses the same style.
Is it true that I'm actually looking at some aftermarket wiper blades? And that 3rd gen Fit never came with wiper blades with metal frames?
My GK (US) has blades similar to yours. I would like to go to the "beam" type but I haven't found a brand in the right size for the passenger front 14" and I've seen some posts on this site suggesting that a 28" beam (driver side) doesn't clear too well. But I should replace my blades; the place I bought the car from provided new blades before the sale but I'm sure they were the cheapest ones they could get (and not Honda parts). So I'm interested in the outcome of this question.
i have a 2015 i bought brand new and i dont think it has any metal inserts at all....the rubber slides in the "plastic?"frame.....some idiot bent my wiper...i obviously unwittingly pissed someone off....and i was able to flatten it backout with a heat gun
2015 was the first year for the GK version with a complete redesign. I'll bet that Honda used the opportunity to change the wiper blades at that point, completely eliminating the metal and going with an all plastic version.
