Driver-side fog light with broken lens

Hi Everyone - my first post here.
I got a 2020 Fit Sport a few weeks ago and I've had the unfortunate luck of already getting a broken lens due to a stray rock. It probably could have happened anywhere but my home driveway is a long gravel road in a rural area that has had a lot of possible culprits.
I don't see much detail about post 2018 refresh GK5s and fog lights, but it appears clear that I have to replace the housing, and it's not the easy bezel removal that are with 2017 or earlier. I saw one video of a 2015 bumper removal so I'm guessing that's what I'll need to do. I have a few questions.
I can see that I could get a driver side housing at Rock auto for at most $40, while the OEM housing is $310 at my local dealer and like $215 from the Honda website, and $50ish on eBay.
Am I really getting what I pay for if I go the generic route?
I can get an OEM LED kit (2 lights) for $400 from the dealer and $200 from an non-eBay source. Is it worth getting the upgrade? I've seen you can just get LED lights that fit in the halogen housing but wonder about the using an LED in a housing designed for halogen.
And how do you align the aim if you're mounting the housing on the bumper with it off the body? Can you mark how the original dial is oriented and then do the same with the new housing or do you have to align it "live" by accessing from under removing an underpanel?
I hope I'm making sense. Any tips to help here are appreciated. Thanks!

Ooh... Just 2 fasteners (and I presume remove the wheel)... That makes it a bit easier to grasp and easier to align. I looked at that area and I noticed there's the lip of the Sport but I can see a separate fastener adjacent and I probably don't have to mess with the lip. Thanks!

Driving / Fog Light Lenses.

Mine cracked from some road debris.

Had my Honda Dealer replace the lens. And upgraded the driving lights to LED's that I brought along. I also upgraded the headlights to LED's. My Fit lights up dark roads with intensity. Love it.

Turning your steering wheel all the way to one side or the other may give you enough room to get in there
