Value of a 2017 EX manual?
Value of a 2017 EX manual?
I have a 2017 EX manual transmission with 100k miles on it. It's fairly beat up, has some cosmetic damage for sure. But I honestly have no idea what I should sell it for to a private buyer. Ballpark what should I be starting off with price-wise?
1) Use KBB.com to get an approximate idea. You can enter your car's options and condition and your ZIP.
2) Look at the asking price for similar cars in your area. I can confirm that there are many used Fits for sale in MA so you should have some comparison points.
3) If you want a fast sale, price low relative to what you learn from #1 and #2. If you want to maximize the sale price, start high so that you have some room to come down to a final price you will be satisfied with.

EX manuals are fairly rare, but 2017 wasn't really all that special in my book.
2018 & 2019 EX manuals are "special" because they're the only manual transmission Fits with Honda-Sensing (adaptive cruise control!!!!).

wuuuuuut, adaptive cruise in a manual Fit! I'm drooling...
2017 EX Stick That's Beat Up.
I'd start at 2000 dollars. Then go up or down from there.
I will refer the OP back to my earlier response. Visit KBB.com, enter your vehicle specifications (or VIN), condition, and ZIP code and see what it says. Set your price at the bottom of the private seller range if you want a quick sale or at the top of the range if you have time and want to maximize the money you get.
When I bought my 2017 LX stick, there were about zero private party sales with clean titles or you bought from a dealer and the prices for GK5 EXs there ranged up to almost 20 grand. I got mine for 12 grand. Dealer maintained, clean title, some hail damage on the hood and the rear bumper cover had been replaced twice. That was a couple of years ago when good used cars were hard to come by. Things are better now. But you're in an unusual market if a few grand will buy you a 2017 EX with a stick.
