I think it would be a great price without the trade-in; an okay price with it. Could you sell the trade-in yourself and make lots more money? Would the additional time and effort you'd put into selling it privately make you more than a few hundred bucks? For the newest and highest-line Fit with very few miles that's not a bad price.

I know I could have paid a lot less for another car than I paid for my '17. But I believe I would have gotten less of a car. If nothing else will do (that's about where I was) than it's high relative to the price of the car new but it's a decent buy.

Almost 6 year old Fit for 23.5k? But I obviously don't know the used car situation where you are.

A new Nissan Versa around me goes for $19k (+ tax, title, license).
I think Nissan dropped the base Versa with MT5. That would've been my go-to, if they still had one, not that I need another car at this point.

2020 Fit For 22,000 Dollars?

Hell No.

I wouldn't pay that.

My 2015 EX Stick was 21,500 OTD in 2015.

Most I'd pay is just under 10,000.

$22k Canadian is around 15950 USD.

My 2015 EX CVT with 114K miles was recently totaled by a DD in September. Their insurance gave me $10120 USD, about 13959 Canadian. I paid $19602 OTD in 2015, so getting half of it back after 10 years wasn't a bad proposition.

I would guess a newer EX-L with less miles/km for only a few thousand more isn't a bad deal. It's like 1k USD per year premium. I would look at online sites to see if that's the going rate in your area. Also make sure it hasn't been involved in an accident. I'm not sure if true car works in Canada, but I've used it twice to get great deals on my vehicles. Recently got a 2025 Ridgeline for 42k otd which was a great deal considering msrp was 48700
