No Oil!

I waited for my Tractor Supply credit card so I could buy $50 worth of oil, or whatever, and get $50 credit. I went in this morning - no $21.99 Pennzoil. I called two other stores, and they didn't have any, either.

Looking on Amazon, I can get Castrol for $0.43 cents more - without driving. They should arrive on Friday. I have until March 22 to spend $50 to get the $50 credit.

Motor Oil.

If this Iran War drags on it might be tough and expensive getting motor oil.

My next oil change I'll report back if the price went up since my last oil change.

No ifs about it. Gas prices are rising every single day around here. I might buy two more five-quart jugs.

Wow! I ordered two Castrol 0W-20 high mileage for $22 a couple of days ago. the same oil is now $32.

Hybrid Cars.

Hybrid cars are starting to sound like a good idea the longer the Iran War goes on.

That's just some good old fashioned profiteering there, as the jug of oil in the store today was refined/processed/shipped long ago.

I checked Tractor Supply online for Pennzoil 0W-20. The site said I could pick it up that day. I drove to the store - no Pennzoil 0W-20. I'm done with Tractor Supply.

When I got home, I ordered two more five-quart jugs of Castrol from Amazon. I have enough oil for a couple of years.

I'd like to know why the Honda oil filter doesn't screw onto the engine.

If you're looking for cheap oil, Pennzoil has a rebate going on: two 5 Qt bottles, earns a $30 rebate. So, 2 $26 (Walmart) of oil is roughly speaking buy one, get one free.

Thanks for that, but I now have plenty of oil.
