Exclamation 2013 or 2015 - HELP. Must decide ASAP

I need a new car ASAP as my 1998 civic was stolen. (Gotta love city living). I can get a new 2013 Sport for $15,900 before taxes with a cargo cover thrown in. But not sure if it makes sense to do that right before the new ones come out. Would it be worth getting the new 2013 at that price, even if I decide to trade it in in a year or two?

Meant to say it is a sport automatic transmission.

if there is a 2015 that you like available ASAP in your area it would be worth taking a look at! Just check some dealers' websites or give your fave dealer a call and ask

The 2013's are already proven vehicles and in the process it all boils down to finances. If saving $3,000 is worth your while for a vehicle that both does the same thing, its got to be the '13. Wouldn't be surprised if you can still squeeze a couple more hundred $'s from the dealer.
Since the need is urgent, you may not get a deal lower than full MSRP for the 2015's till another 3 months or so. Only you can interpret your current situation so the final decision rests in your hands.
Whatever you decide, now that you've focused on a Fit, all I can say is your on the right track no matter whether its a '13 or the '15 model.
Happy shopping and post your decision.

Just get the 2013 if you are in a rush, otherwise if you can wait you might as well get the 2015

Is the 2015 available in your area? I was told last week by a dealer in my area (Portland, OR) that they won't be getting any 2015's in until a couple of months. This seems like a long time to me and I wonder about the truth of the statement. On the other hand, I think there are still a lot of 2013's on the lots, and they want to clear these out first. You can get some good deals right now on the 2013's.

I was asking same question as you. If price wasn't an issue and I liked it after test driving, I'd personally probably go with the 2015 because I like the new look, plus there seem to be a lot of new improvements - read some of the reviews.

For me, it looks like I might go with a used Fit Sport because it better fits in my budget - I just found a 2010 Honda Fit Sport with M/T being offered for $12,600. I'm going to test drive this coming week and probably will buy it if all goes well. Ah, but a 2015 sure would be sweet! Good luck with your decision.

The question should really be does the '13 FIT have everything you want. By the price offered, the equivalent '15 FIT wont be a feature filled EX but an LX which is a little above 16k. The EX is 18k. Also lets be clear here. The fit has little mark-up. The '13 had 150.00 mark-up. So 15k is a steal. I'd go with the '13. The money saved you can use for tint and engine mods if you do that stuff ;-). btw, is the sport auto/manual/navi?

$15,900 is a very good deal . We paid $15,570 for '13 base with the 5 speed auto The price includes the cost of 4 floor mats , 4 mud guards installed and a cargo cover for free . If you purchased the '13 there's less hit ( gap ) when trading it in for a '15 sometime down the road . They hold their value quite well . Good luck and let us know what you decide .
