Seat Covers

Whats up. Last Friday, I purchased the 2015 EX. Since my two previous cars endured driver seat seam tears and food spills, I want to purchase seat covers for my front row seats. Does anyone have any good leads on where to get premium seat covers? Anyone install seat covers yet?

Clazzio's would be nice leather covers but that solution won't come till end of this year.

Immediate solution, Scotchguard the cloth seats for now. Approx. cost: $22 for 4 cans from Wally's.

I just chatted w/ both Bean Garage and Clazzio. Bean Garage is a distributor for those Clazzio's. Bean Garage said they don't know when they'll start making it. So I went ahead and chatted w/ Clazzio instead. They said they've been thinking about it for a while and will start making them as soon as they have enough request. And they're still haven't make the mold for it either.

This is the form Clazzio made me fill out:

Looks like that's what I'll do until the covers come in. Thanks

When considering seat covers remember that these seats have air bags in them. They have to be accommodated in the design.

I like seat covers too, since here in SoCal light-colored seats are a definite advantage.

The clazzios are designed to rip open to allow the airbags to deploy. Apparently there are crash test videos of them on YouTube.

You guys should do a group buy. I'd get cracking because it took Clazzio 3-4 months to custom make my covers with red stitch.

I'm just curious - I had a 1991 Civic that had problems and had to replace my drivers seat after 8 years, so I purchased the Fit EX-L (NAVI) for that reason (and the heated seats too). With a difference of $2365 to upgrade from the EX to the EX-L, how much are the aftermarket seat covers?
