Will it fit?

This is my Sun Dolphin 8' Kayak, it fits inside perfect and could actually be probably 9' long and fit!

I had a tuba AND a sousaphone in the back of my 2009 Sport along with luggage for the weekend and there was still room to spare.

Excellent. A friend that has an older model Fit told me her kayak fit in it. Love the capacity of these cars!

That's pretty incredible that you could haul a kayak INSIDE a small car! My 10 ft kayak probably won't fit, but that's what my truck is for anyway.

Yeah I know, I have a 10' also but have not tried putting it inside but will. Doubt it will fit but I just carry it on my racks. Shame the back window doesn't open or else you could carry it! Of course there is the mess of when it comes off the lake..............pretty sure the wife won't be liking that so I will most likely stick to the racks LOL

Just read this thread and gotta to show the wife the pics. Its amazing how a kayak can fit in.

Can now justify to her the "Fit" madness that's been in the back of my mind for the last 7 years!!!!

Yeah, I thought of that too. If I came home with mud and lake scum all over the inside of the new Fit . . . well let's just say that I probably should have just stayed at the lake!

For the sake of my health and well being I think I'll stick with just throwing it into the back of the Tacoma!
