What did you drive before your Fit?

Just a fun thread to pass time while we wait for our cars to arrive.

I have/had a highly modified 2011 Audi A4 6MT that i stripped back to stock and am trading in for the Fit. I commute via train to work, so i don't really have a need for the Audi. Also looking to get married and buy a house soon, so getting some money back is nice.

Mod list is crazy long. Some notable parts are APR k04, KW V1s, custom built Work VS-XX wheels, etc

I drove a '13 Honda Accord EX-L V6. I traded it in for the '15 Fit and could not be happier! The newer Accords have succumbed to a certain numbness that my previous ones did not have. I just did not enjoy the car at all.

The Fit is so much more fun to drive, and it has most of the same tech/safety/creature comforts and features of the Accord - like Bluetooth, Touchscreen audio, USB ports, Lanewatch, Backup Camera to name a few. Also, I think the *leather seats in the Fit are plumper and more comfortable than those in the Accord.

Can you tell I love the Fit?

(*leather trimmed, "leatherette")

ETA: What color/trim/transmission do you plan on getting? And your Audi is lovely!

Wow, that front license plate position does NOT look right, symmetry is completely thrown off. Looks like you just want to walk up and pull it off the beautiful front end. Other than that looks nice.

Good car, just became too expensive to maintain.

I generally drive a 2010 Toyota Tacoma. The Fit will replace my wife's car which is a 1992 Honda Accord. So it will be a HUGE change for her.

Well I traded in my 05 Element on my 15 Fit. But I kept my 95 Acura Integra GSR sedan. All I ever own is Hondas.

Trading in/selling 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe for my Fit. List of needed repairs exceed the value of the car so that is my queue to trade up.

Our other car is a 2013 Prius C, love it, but it does has some drawbacks. Mainly passenger space and trunk space, both of which the Fit will make up for!

2005 Civic EX MT. Harmonic balancer/pulley warped at 164k back in May (still not sure why as I took care of the car). Destroyed the crankshaft necessitating a replacement engine. Decided it wasn't cost effective to replace so I scrapped it and switched to a 2015 EX 6MT. This is the 2nd Honda I've owned and 4th I've driven regularly and just like them (learned in an 88 Civic DX that my family ended up keeping for 17 years/200k+).

Sweet B8 Tofu!

I'm an Audi nut as well. I didn't replace my MK1 Audi TT with my Fit but I did replace a 98 Acura CL Manual I was driving for a couple years. Having an older Audi requires ownership of a JDM car for the sake of sanity and having the ability to always get to work.

Here's my 2001 Audi TT 225 with a long list of mods as well. Her name is Grasshopper and she currently has 248k miles.

I ended up buying a leftover 2013 Fit Sport Manual and am absolutely in love with this little machine.

Before my 2015 honda fit EX, I had a 2011 Honda Fit Sport. I traded in the 2011 for the 2015. That car had replaced a 2001 Nissan Quest. Love my fits!

I Bought a 2013 Honda Civic last year, but I sold it to buy the 15 Fit. I was going to purchase the 13 Fit instead of the Civic, but I'm so glad I didn't. I would have been so disappointed knowing the 15 model got a redesign packed with more features.

'95 Cougar. That car kicked ass. But it was falling apart and costing a bundle. When cash for clunkers hit, I got an '09 Fit. Now sporting a 2012. Will probably go for a 15 (16?) Fit next year.

I went to look at a '15 and walked out with a '13 sport since I walked out the door for $15.5k I had to get a new car since my other car is a money pit and blows up regularly.

The new car. It needs tires that don't suck badly and maybe some lowering springs.
