Is there any possibility and aftermarket radio/gps would be able to be connected to the rearview camera and lane watch?

That is a great question that I unfortunately do not know the answer to

The HU you bought would have to support multiple video feed inputs as well as steering wheel controls/blinker integration. I am not sure if any units out there support all that.

I wanted to install an aftermarket HU myself but I did not want to get into it for that specific reason.

Also for anyone wondering, the head unit on the EX/EX-L trims does NOT have any subwoofer/RCA outputs, so any sub installation will require speaker wire input.

Thanks!

I have a feeling the answer is going to be no though the rearview camera should at least hookup as a basic feed.

Pioneer and the other major HU manufacturers should really get on this because I have a feeling this is going to be more and more of an issue with new vehicles.

I was very excited to pick up a new Pioneer HU with carplay integration before I decided on the 15 Fit EX. But now I'm probably just going to make do with the stock unit to avoid screwing up the car's other advanced features.

I actually just ordered a Pioneer CarPlay HU, but it's going in my '15 Ram 2500 farm truck (which came with the basest of base radios).

Like you, I'm unwilling to give up the Fit's OEM radio features (the mileage info screen, lanewatch and rear-view cameras specifically), at least at this point.

it is not actually the same thing with the lx model or the dx canadian model , you find the cheapest head unit that give you only the rearview camera , no lane watch camera on lx or dx , no fuel detail or gadget like this , only rearview camera and bluetooth thing with cell phone , on the canadian model , the only buttons you have on the steering is for the phone so....

Years ago, radios were radios and swaps were relatively easy.

Now, it might just be wise to leave the factory unit alone. If superb audio is required, pick your vehicle accordingly.

Best Buy promises to re-install your OEM unit before you sell the car or return it at lease end. Not having the OEM unit might bang your trade value or cost you a massive penalty from the leasing company.

6.75" speakers sizing is just a general reference. Some speakers have "baskets" or metal frames that get in the way, and cannot be installed without hacking away at something. Eg: I originally had 6.5" rear midbass speakers in which that exactly happened, so I had to size down to 5.25" for the same speakers.

the car is no lease , i buy the car , and it make non sense to buy a particular car brand just because the stereo is better in brand x than brand y , maybe what you said is true for lease car

if i have bough my car in this way , i chose the vw golf because the radio is android auto and the radio play flac on usb but the car is less mpg friendly in city than the fit .
