Hi Kenny

Good luck w/ the build. I got a couple questions for you:

-what type of exhaust manifold, log or equal length? i'm guessing you're going to make an equal length
-what turbo?
-how do u plan to tune? since it's a new ECU and it hasn't been cracked yet, i'm guessing a piggyback or full standalone?
-Cusco offers an upgraded clutch and LSD which will help you put power down. since it's a show car, it probably won't matter

Ah, nice. Do you have inside info that Hondata is definitely working on something? They released the FlashPro for the GD guys but didnt make much money there and they skipped the GE generation. Interested to see the results. Any thoughts on what size turbo you will be going for yet? Im curious on how much torque the stock rods can handle.

I heard Bisimoto is also building a L15b, so i wonder what internals and huge turbo he ends up putting together.

Watched the video and have to disagree on one point. Honda was not the first to introduce airbags in 1987. The 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo was the first car sold in North America with dual airbags. Minor quibble.

Thanks for all the updates Kenny, good luck. Especially great to see the pics as you tear it down, please keep them coming. Are you keeping the stock honda display/head unit or swapping it out?

Interesting to hear about the Hondata information. I don't much about Hondas and Hondata tuning in general. Just the bits I read here and there. Was trying to find a way to hook up a air/fuel controller (Like an Apexi SAFC Neo/Vtec) but not having much luck.

Again, good luck with this. Watching closely! The direct injection should work well with the turbo. A CVT transmission with a light psi of boost (Thinking 5psi..no more) should work well as well (Just thinking out loud). The turbo setup could be made to be similar to the next generation Honda Fit that Honda was talking about making turbo.

Wow, just combed through your tumblr page with all the updates. Amazing so far. the interior is going to look AWESOME. did you dye the oem leather red? or was it re-wrapped?

also what type of trunk setup will you be doing w/ the Airrex bags? hidden under the floor? im guessing exposed since it's a show car
