It finally came!! Meet Leia, the white LX.

Took a full month from when I signed the bill of sale till when I got her, but here she is!

Shopping List:
Floor Mats
Tint
Cargo liner to protect the car from my dog (a daily passenger)

Patience is a virtue!! I bought the car for less than MSRP with no dealer add-ons. Somehow it ended up with mud flaps and 3M scratch guard on the door edges and inside the handles (at no cost to me). No complaints about that

Thrilled to have finally joined the club you guys!

Congrats! Man from that perspective and not being able to notice the Honda emblem, the front grill looking dark like that on a white GK looks menacing.

If THAT is a a consulate ship then where is the ambassador?

Kidding aside, nice car! Drive it in great health and good luck.

Can you comment on the cargo liner? I like how it covers the whole area, but how durable does it seem?

Just re read your post and see it's on the shopping list... Update if you can and I'll do the same if I get one soon!

Cargo liner is great. It is rubber, vacuums nicely, and the edges are turned up all around, about a 1" lip or so to keep liquid in. It covers the entire trunk. It is also rather flexible, but I dont think it would lay flat if you flip the seats down.

No it wouldn't. I have the cargo liner too and I love it. Great for my dirty sandy boots after a long hike.

Thanks for the input guys!

There are two accessories: a cargo liner and a cargo tray. I may be wrong, but it sounds like you are describing the tray, which is a rubberized tray with a raised lip that covers only the floor of the trunk area.

The cargo liner is a large, tarp looking thing that covers the floor and seat backs. It comes with two other pieces that cover the walls of the trunk and has a flap that folds out over the bumper, or up to protect the inside of the door. This is the one I'm curious about. It certainly covers a lot area, but I'm wondering if its thin and flimsy or if it seems durable and worth the $130+ it sells for... The alternative I'm thinking of is to get vinyl and make my own.

Sorry to hijack your thread Leia. I know this isn't the thread I was looking for...

No worries m_x, I've been impatiently waiting for more info on the liners myself. I'm just about ready to pull the trigger and order one. I tied a crate into the cargo area today to transport the dog, but he's 55lbs/it's a big crate and I'm not at all satisfied with that. I want to be able to have him loose in the back but clipped in with a harness (and to be able to have passengers without unstrapping and breaking down a crate!!)

But the FIT is wonderful and I'm so happy with my purchase. I'm coming from a 1987 Honda CRX, so everyone else's complaints about road noise, handling, etc are laughable to me. This car feels like luxury! Smooth, quiet, comfortable - and it even has cupholders!

The germans and russians are laughing at us... seriously they are. I get asked all the time what the point of having a cupholder is. They think its hilarious we call it a "cup" holder... I didn't get it either.

Congrats btw. I have a white one too, enduring some issues, but hopefully it will survive. The all black trim looks nice... hmm.
