Morning,

Yesterday I traded in my beloved Toyota Matrix which had a dying trans for a white Fit LX, I'm a pretty bare-bones and frugal guy so the LX was perfect. They threw in mud guards and all-weather rubber mats, living in the Chicago suburbs with snow and salt that was critical. I'm a rather eclectic guy with some heavy driving involved. I drive about thirty hours a week just for various charity meetings, hit up Renn Faires and Irish concerts in the summer, and when I can find time I love hiking and camping.

I'm a total survival nut and gadget junkie, expect a lot of posts asking about adding storage options and organizers to my Fit to handle all my little odds and ends.

It is funny to me that you came from a Matrix. When my wife asked me why I chose the Fit, I wasn't really sure, I just always like the look of them. Later, we saw a Matrix and it occurred to me that I always liked the look of them and almost bought one in the past. To me the Matrix and the Fit have very similar profiles, so I think that is one of the reasons I was drawn to the Fit.
