Miles driven so far...

So I just want an idea of how many miles people are typically driving with their fits. I've had mines for about a month now and have driven 3500 miles. So I should be expecting about 42,000 a year. Times that by 5 years, the length of my finance. Ill be at 210,000 by the time I'm done financing it. Just food for thought lol

700 miles in 3 months. We live in a very walkable town, so the car gets used every second or third day for errands.

Once we get settled in we hope to take much longer trips in it.

Almost same story here! I've had it a month and I'm near 3,700. At least 500 miles were pointless joy rides

I'm over 3000 after doing an LA<->SF trip, and 10/1 would be two full months since purchasing the Fit. I also have 20 or 30 mile one-way commutes depending on which hospital i'm scheduled at. I think I might easily pass the 15k miles I told the insurance I'd be doing annually.

I'm driving about the same miles as you two! Which is way too much! I have had it about 3 1/2 weeks and I'm at about 3200! I would say about 2000 is accounted for in pointless joy riding (often taking the longest possible route home).

This is my first new car and I love little Hondas... I grew up on them. I used to drive the original Honda CVCC hatchback. Driving an Element for the last 7 years made me forget how much I LOVE driving a minicar!!! Hopefully the honeymoon effect will wear off and I will settle down to a normal rate of 1250/mo or 15000/year.

I don't want to wear it out too quickly!!!

I've had my Fit one week today and have approx. 550 miles on it. I admit that I have done a little aimless driving everyday since I've had it.

Miles so far

Picked up the EX on Fri. 19th. As of this morning 700 and a few miles. Total mpg so far is 40 and a tad. Fun is at 100% Friends and coworkers envy is enormous. Smug factor is way higher than with a Prius.
