Side windows' "wipers" not flush?

It finally sprinkled a bit and I would roll down the windows to wipe the droplets but the driver's side window only has the lower half wiped off while the passenger has the whole window wiped. Is this something to bring back to the dealer to fix? I got used to my old car barely even wiping at all, but would expect a new door "wiper" would seat flush with the windows top to bottom.

I wouldn't worry about it; the piece isn't designed to make a hermetical seal when the window is rolled down. It's more there to keep twigs and leaves and stuff out of the interior of the door than anything, I think, and possibly to seal against the bottom of the window when it's rolled up to keep out the rain. (If you have water sloshing in the door when you open or close it after a rainstorm with the windows up, that's of course cause for concern! But I don't think that will happen.)

Yeah, we all use them to wipe the glass, but they're just there to make a seal when the window's closed.

Hmm read a few other forums and seems like it doesn't always wipe the windows even on BMW's and Mercedes. Waxing the windows help but starting off with little beads of water still block vision at night. Still would like some way to nudge the seal a tad.
