Windows streaking when not 100% clean

It seems as though if my windows aren't spotless anything that is on the windows is caught by the brush of the window system and results in a long streak basically the full height of the window (vertically).

Is it me or are the brushes a little too close to the windows and result in dragging too much junk up/down the glass?

Not sure what you mean but are you referring to the wipers (window system) and wiper blades (brush)? Just never came across them referred that way.

Well if your blades are as old as your "join date" indicates then perhaps its time to replace them... really...

No. You're reading it wrong.

The side windows that roll down have brushes to keep crap out of the inside of the door. Those seem to be dragging stuff on my windows. I just cleaned the hell out of the windows inside and out so we can see exactly how it fares now.

Sorry, that's a non-issue with me.

Does it happen when those brushes are dry? On every vehicle that I've owned, they will mess-up your windows when wet or damp; and they can get damp when you clean your windows.

Good point, maybe you're lowering your windows while the "brushes" are damp/wet.

I went after them with detail swabs and I think we're all good now. It even sounds normal instead of it's previously "gritty" sound.

You should file a lawsuit against honda for your streaky windows
