FITness Report 2015 EX CVT PBP
Three weeks ownership today. 3132 miles, 85% expressway. 43.2 mpg. Overall impression...Its great. Fun to drive, much more like a sports car than anything I have driven in years. Good cabin layout, everything in easy reach. Sound system is great (says a guy with hearing aid). For an entry level car I am amazed. Our last new car was our 2003 Civic. We bought the FIT because the Civic has 262,xxx miles and my wife commutes 70 miles a day. The FIT handles way better than the Civic. I just replaced a spark plug coil pack on the Civic, that is only the second thing to be replaced on that car. We are still on the original rear brake shoes! This little FIT has a lot to live up to. We bought the Honda all weather floor mats/rear deck tray from Amazon and saved money. This weekend we will order LEDs for the interior and license plate lights. If anything goes wrong we will report back.
During the weeks of my GK ownership, am having similar positive conclusions with the exception of steering. As compared to my previous GD, the "road feel" seems lacking. Got used to it after putting a couple of miles. The "effort", however, is easy and makes low speed, close-quarter manuevering a breeze.
Time will tell if the GK can get the same reliability that you got out of your Civic!!!
Its now time to post pics!!!!
One of the things I love about this forum is the number of older folks like myself. I listen to classical music and also think the sound system is great. The PBP was my wife's choice and I gotta agree it's classy. It gets a lot of head turning from the ladies, as well as compliments from the gents.
My last Honda product was an arrest me red '97 Acura GS-R and while the Fit isn't as quick, fast, or hard cornering, it feels a bit more nimble and is every bit as fun to drive. But then I've slowed down a lot myself in the last seventeen years.
Thanks for the update, Colonel. Keep 'em coming.

FITness Report update
On Sunday my dear wife drove north from Deming, NM to Belen, NM and I-25 passes through two canyons that are notorious for their high winds. We were having gusts to 40mph on Sunday. So, how was the FIT in the wind? My wife said she could feel the wind but nothing to worry about, no problem.
