I've been toying with the idea of 7x7.5/42 with 205/45/17 and I'm afraid they're going to rub at stock height. Any news on how these came out?

Stock height did not rub for me.
But once I change the suspension kit (-24mm front / -25mm rear), the front starts rubbing occasionally.

As long as you don't lower the car or carry too much weight, it will be fine.
