How far does the Driver seat height go up & down

I just tried to move the seat up/down (just as it says to do on page 133 of the manual) and it only moves 1/32nd of an inch it seems. Which indicates the seat is jammed or stuck. But the seat and back each goes forward & backward just fine. Hmmm......

Something is wrong then....

I can go up to where I come within an inch or so hitting my head on the moonroof, and can go down pretty far as well. You pump downwards on the lever on the left side of the seat to go down, and pump up to go up. Try it again.

Duh.... that worked! Thanks. I never had seat height that worked that way. (My other car has a driver seat height mechanism which is spring loaded, so you just jerk your entire body and it goes up).

Yours is broken or you maybe are doing something wrong then, mine moves up and down a good 1 1/2 inches. There are two levers down there, ones the recline latch that releases the recline stop and let's you recline back with your own power, or spring returns all the way forward if you scooch your butt forward and lean into the steering wheel. The other one raises the seat if you repeatedly pull it from the position it's in up, and lowers the seat if you repeatedly push it from the position it's in down. Maybe you are working the recline lever and not leaning back or forward? Maybe you are working the raise lever up only but the seat is already at max height?
