Fog lamps + high beams?

Anyone figured out how to keep the fog lamps on when the high-beams are active? I drive some back-country roads and it would be nice to have the distance and up-close illumination.

Pretty sure there's no way to make that happen, most cars are wired to automatically shut off the fog lights when high beams are flicked on. The Fit is no different, or so says my dad, who's a mechanic

Search for "independent fog light", there are instructions for the GD and GE models.
I don't think anyone's figured out the under-dash wiring for the GK yet, but the basic concept should be similar (wire directly from fog light relay and change the ground)

It's afederal regulation that says you can't run the fogs with the high beams
